What a lovely place! The owners were so friendly, and the gentleman spoke good English with me. They even provided an English menu. I ordered the soba with daikon radish and it was good— the noodles super fresh. The gentleman was kind enough to explain everything on the plate to me as well. I had a wonderful experience here!

We joined the soba-making class here. It was a lot of fun, and the owner Agishi-san was very kind. They are making all soba by hand, fresh every morning. Restaurant is very cozy and traditional Japanese, but when we were there, opera music was being played. I thought this was a refreshing change of atmosphere and enjoyed slurping soba noodles with the music. While my handmade soba was not as good as the one made by Agishi-san, I could tell the component of the soba was very delicious. Overall, the meal was light, refreshing, and it was nice to know that a family has been working sincerely to let you taste the wonderful aroma of handmade soba. Thank you Agishi-san for the experience!

Had a lot of fun making our own soba! Agishi-san was extremely friendly and patient with us. Learnt a lot and definitely enjoyed eating what we made after as well! Highly recommend to anyone who would like to have simple and delicious soba. If you have the time, I would say definitely go make your own as well.
