``KIMURA'', a new store name and location opened from Lotos Western confectionery store

Personally, this is my favorite mille-feuille ♡
The strawberry tart also had a crispy crust and was delicious...
The fruit cake made with cinnamon dough also turned out great.

It's only open for about half of the month, so we recommend checking the store's Twitter (@kimura_kyoto) before going.

The popular patisserie “Lotos Western Confectionery Store”
I came here because the name has changed and the location has resumed.

On this day, I rented a bicycle and visited,
It's a difficult place to get to.

We arrived just before the store opened, but there were already 5-6 people waiting.

A calm and clean wooden shop
The sales staff also have a soft and friendly atmosphere.

What I bought on this day

caramel cream eclair

cream puff
Cream puff with thin crust and rich custard cream

egg shortcake
fresh cream and custard cream
simple sponge shortcake

Puy d'Amour
Custard cream and banana in a pie bowl

I also bought sweet potato and marron pie.

On the way, I was told that the creme brûlée would be ready soon.

All of them are exquisite and have a delicate taste! !

I also bought some baked goods such as vanilla cookies, lemon cake, sable breton, and florentine.
Thank you for the meal! !

A safe Western confectionery shop loved by locals
The store is open and full. I know you're loved

Everything was delicious and I personally liked the cream puffs.

Translated from Japanese:

I liked Lotos Western Confectionery Shop in Bukkoji Temple, so I was happy to learn that they had opened a new store after closing. However, since it is located in an area that is difficult to visit, I was finally able to visit it after a long time in Oita Prefecture. Similar to Lotos pastry shop...

Translated from Japanese:

The sweets made by Chef Kimura, formerly of the now-defunct legendary Ogrenie d'Or by Mr. Kinzo Nishihara, look simple, but are exquisite when eaten. The most popular mille-feuille has a texture like no other, with a smooth layer that makes it look amazing. I don't know, but it's super in my mouth...

Translated from Japanese:

Every corner of the shop is neat and tidy.It has a relaxing space.I went there to buy baked goods to give as presents. They all looked delicious. If you make a donation for a disaster, you will receive a sponge and cream sweet as a gift.As you would expect from a famous shop.
