Small, family run yakiniku restaurant with an old school vibe. Two tatami tables and two small sit down tables. Almost impossible to get a reservation if you aren't a regular; we were lucky to be invited by a friend who travels from Nagoya twice a year just to maintain his regular status. You come here for the excellent meat, reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere.

A very famous Yakiniku restaurant that is said to be the most difficult to get a reservation in Japan.
Kinryuyama is a mountain that Yakiniku lovers all over the country dream of climbing at least once.
New reservations are not currently available.
The only option is to ask a regular customer to take you or to post cancellation information, and even regular customers only visit once every six months, making reservations only for regular customers, so it is almost impossible to visit on your own. .

☆Recommended points☆
①One of the best yakiniku restaurants in the country, where reservations have been difficult for over 10 years
② Top quality yakiniku of a level rarely seen

[1st photo]
"Jotan Shio (4,800 yen/serving)"
*Photo shows 5 servings

First up is the classic upper tongue salt.
As you can see, the tongue has just the right amount of fat with a good balance of fat and lean meat, and has a crispy texture and the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor.

Of all the tongue I've eaten, I've never had one with such a good balance of texture and flavor.

It was so delicious that I ordered more after this.

[2nd to 3rd pictures]
"Special loin (3,500 yen/person)"
*Order for 4 pieces per serving and 10 photos for one person.

This is the recommended menu listed on the blackboard inside the store.

What surprised me most was how soft it was.
Despite being a thick cut, it has a melt-in-your-mouth taste and is of a different quality.

And what I personally liked was the sauce.
The sauce is not too rich and does not overpower the natural flavor of the meat, and this is a skill that must be mastered.

[4th photo]
"Upper Kalbi (2,800 yen/person)"
*Order for 4 pieces per serving and 10 photos for one person.

There are four types of ribs: special, top, medium, and average, and this time I ordered the top rib.

Although it is ribs, it is not too greasy and has a good amount of lean meat.

It's a large-sized cut, and the satisfaction level is quite high.

[5th photo]
"Harami (3,800 yen/serving)"
*Order for 4 pieces per serving and 10 photos for one person.

Skirt steak has a little more fat, and is also quite thickly sliced.

When you put it in your mouth, the juicy meat juices overflow from the crispy outer surface, and the flavor spreads throughout your mouth.
And since it is carefully prepared, there is no greasy odor and you can concentrate on the flavor.

[6th photo]
"Specially selected liver (1,800 yen/person)"
*Photo shows 2 servings

I ordered this from the hormone system.

Perhaps because of the careful preparation, there is no odor and you can concentrate on the flavor.

You can really feel the sweetness, and the hormones are also of very high quality.

【summary】
Sumiyaki Kinryuzan is a yakiniku restaurant that has been loved in Shirokane Takanawa for over 40 years and is now said to be the most difficult to get a reservation in Japan.
Due to the difficulty of making reservations, it has been nicknamed by gourmet experts as ``a mountain that you must climb at least once in your life.''
By the way, ``Akasaka Raimon'' is just as difficult to make reservations, but this restaurant is apparently run by the daughter and wife of ``Kinryuzan.''

On this day, I was invited to visit.
It is not possible to make reservations for Gensaku Hitomi, and the only ways to visit are to ask a regular person to take you there, or to get hold of the cancellation information that is posted on the official Instagram account very rarely and call immediately. It's up to you to do it.
It seems that this time I got it with the latter.

The inside of the restaurant is a bit old-fashioned, with a strong smell of smoke, but the meat is so delicious that you don't care about the smell of clothes or smoke, and every part of the meat is of high quality.
If you love yakiniku, this is a mountain you should climb at least once.
