Old school izakaka. Food is excellent, place is quite small (20 seats?) not easy to get a seat. But worth queuing. Non smoking, thank god. Located at Tsukishima's Monjayaki-street (no clue, why Japanese who have such wonderful food would eat that glibberish Monjayaki...,sorry for that but it looks like somebody threw up into your bowl)

Comments: Exceptional Japanese restaurant. Strongly recommended also for tourists if you can wait outside for several minutes. Only downside is SMOKING is permitted...

Very good food.
Again, lots of gestures and pointing to get my food.
I think it was salmon!

Translated from Japanese:

"Kishidaya" is located in the shopping district of Tsukishima, the town of Monja. Established in 1900, it is one of the most popular pubs in Tokyo, and is a popular restaurant with long lines every day since it opens at 4 p.m. "Kishidaya"'s beef stew is also featured in the first volume of the gourmet manga "Oishinbo"...

Translated from Japanese:

▪︎I came to visit a friend of Aji Tsukishima, and since I had been to Tsukishima several times, I decided to visit other than Monja.・According to my friend, it seems to be crowded with old men returning from the sauna.・Sashimi, boiled etc...

Translated from Japanese:

This is an old-fashioned izakaya restaurant in Tsukishima.I visited around 7pm.I was worried because it was a Friday, but there was no line and I was seated right away.In the middle, there is another wall at the end of this character-shaped counter. ..
