I saw this ramen place listed on many blogs so we have decided to give it a try! This place has a lineup pretty much every day so prepare yourself to wait.
We ordered one original & one Kujo negi ramen and, WE LOVED THE NOODLES! Their noodles are very thick, curly/wavy, chewy, and delicious.👍🏻 The soup wasn't as rich as I hoped for like Yokohama style and it was a bit salty for me. Overall with the extra green onions, it was satisfying! 🍜✚

It was a miserably rainy evening but when I saw a line waiting patiently outside, I decided to try go in and try anyway. The wait wasn’t that long, and what the store lacked in aesthetics made up for the cheerfulness and friendliness of the staff. I ordered their special ramen with medium noodles and oiliness, but with less salt. I didn’t order extra rice like everyone seemed to but that was okay. The ramen soup was rich and tasty, and the chashu was smoky, thickly cut and firm with a bit of bite. Needless to say, this is not your standard melt in the mouth chashu. The noodles were thick, chewy, and wonderfully absorbed the soup. The addition of greens perfectly balanced the richness and it will leave you feeling satisfied. Good experience, would definitely eat here again.

One of the best ramen shops here in Ikebukuro. The owner is so friendly and remembers the face of it's regular costumers. You can customize your ramen according to your liking. (Hardness of your noodles, saltiness of the soup, and how much oil do you want). You can also order rice-all-you-can for just 100yen. It's a great deal for those people who loves rice a lot. I really recommend you to try and see it for yourself.
