In 2003 I would stop by here nearly every morning on my way to work and enjoy an wonderful hot bowl of Tamago Soba.

It has been nearly 20 years and I still remember how happy I would feel every time I enjoyed a warm breakfast here.

Thank you for a wonderful memory.

25 years living in Tokyo make me apppreciate this sushi shop even more.
First of all the sushi are served only in the evenings, morning it transforme into a soba shop, and I have never had soba over there !

About the Sushi.
Frankly don’t bother gojg anywhere else if you only eat sushi ones. Other wise come here last, you will appreciate it even more.

This is a very rare shop, most of it’s kind are gone, and japan will very soon stop offering this now very unique places

Here you come and eat sushi made by a master sushi, with a Japanese beer or a green tea, you seat in a stool (tachigui/stand up eating) the sushi balance is amazing and offers a generous piece of fish like it use to be. The temperature is just perfect and the sushi will taste amazing and melt in your mouth !

There is 3 choice of set
1000 yen
1600 yen
2000 yen
I always go for the 2000 yen,
For any of them the master chef will choose what fish he sushis will me made of, if you go up in price you will have better note expensive fish as well as a very different culinary experience...

You can also order any sushi or sashimi, he will make them for you. I found he 2000 yen deal the best deal I ever got in Tokyo !

Now this place is made to eat drink and go away, it is not a place to spend an evening, but rather to enjoy a taste that is becoming less and less available, every Japanese personé I have been there with have been amazed !

You can only enjoy if you realize exactly the value and the way to behave. I hope this comment was helpful !

Enjoy

I've been here before for a standing soba restaurant that was closed, but this was my first visit at night.
There was only one customer and the atmosphere was like a scene from a drama.
Afterwards, a lively old man ate snacks, beer, and two pieces of brain-tempered meat and quickly left.
The atmosphere is nice.

First of all, I have beer 🍺
Nigiri is the only choice, so I will order that!
The sushi is also big and filling.
The size of the sushi rice is charming!
I was able to get the head of the octopus sashimi, so I’m grateful 😄

It was delicious.

Thank you for the meal😋😋
