If you want to eat authentic Japanese food, you can't go wrong.
The shop is run by the general manager alone.
At night, we offer kaiseki (a full course of Japanese cuisine), but for lunch you can enjoy a plate meal at a great price. This volume is 3500 yen for the Omakase course. All of the ingredients are carefully selected, and I'm impressed by how different even a single vegetable is from what I usually eat. All of them have a delicate taste, and the soup stock is similar to Kyoto cuisine. It's best to make a reservation at least one day in advance, as the rice is freshly cooked and takes a long time to be served!

I went for lunch on a weekday as part of a work social gathering.
only reservation? As expected, it's not crowded, and although it's not a large restaurant, it's calm.
I don't like seafood, but all the side dishes are fish.
However, everything was so delicious that I thought I would comment.
I don't know what kind of fish it was, but I was surprised at how light and fluffy the small fish tempura was with minimal batter on the inside.
Also, when I had questions related to cooking, they answered my questions politely and explained the background, etc., and I felt that they had a wealth of knowledge and a positive attitude towards cooking, which made me feel good.
I would like to come here again for the fish dishes.
At 3,500 yen for a weekday lunch, I wouldn't say it's cheap, but since I'm not very interested in food, this is one of the few restaurants I want to take my wife to.

I ate sweetfish for the first time in about a year. The bittersweetness is irresistible. Ayu from Gujo Hachiman (upstream of the Nagara River). Fried flounder is best when freshly fried. Akashi's octopus sashimi is delicious even without adding anything! Sazae liver dressing is delicious!
It's all great food.
It was a great dinner and I was able to drink a variety of Japanese sake.
