Kotegaeshi Yurakucho Review Summary

we came here on new year’s day after wandering around ginza for like 40 minutes trying to find a single restaurant that was open, and we finally found this place. to be honest, i didn’t have very high expectations coming in and i wasn’t expecting to like it at all, but i was pleasantly surprised! it definitely wasn’t the best meal i’ve had in japan and i probably wouldn’t come back unless i had to, but every item we got on was quite yummy ! the steak was extremely soft and bouncy, but the gyutan was a bit too tough to chew for my liking. the potato with cheese and mentaiko cream was also delectable, as was the beef tendon with cabbage. the service was a bit subpar, but that’s understandable because of how busy they were for new years.

Highly recommend especially for foreign travelers!! I’m Japanese but I think this restaurant’s Okonomiyaki is pretty good, if you don’t have time to travel to Osaka, try visiting here!
Cousins are good and Okonomiyaki is cooked by chef, so you dont have to cook it. English menu is available, and you can order by Smartphone, so it’s ok not to speak Japanese.
You can choose toppings when order. My recommendations are Mix Okonomiyaki or Mix Modern Yaki topped with Red ginger (Beni-shoga) and Mochi.

I loved the place. The food is amazing and so delicious. The staff is very nice and they gave us a free dessert! Very nice and will definitely go again.

A great Japanese restaurant in Ginza specializing in Okonomiyaki with reasonable pricing.

I tried two of their Okonomiyaki; both had the right balance of sweetness and savouriness. The smoky flavor was just right as some places can easily overdo that.

I went there for an early lunch, so it wasn’t crowded and received good services.

Went with some friends to take dinner. We had to wait a bit longer because they forgot to call us. The food was splendid and the ambience is totally cool and comfortable. I will repeat when I come back
