This shop sells many things: dango, potato, and meat skewers. What I was after is the grilled beef tongue. The smell was irresistible and people just simply lined up for it. The beef tongue is quite salty but it is freshly made and flavorful. The only caveat is that in a cold day, it can get cold easily so eat them quickly.

My wife and I picked up dango and a beef tongue skewer before heading to the bamboo forest. The dango was soft and chewy and the sauce was perfect. Great snack to pick up around the area, open early.

There are a bunch of negative reviews here about eating short ribs and things like that. This is clearly a desert store. They serve ice cream.
More importantly they make tofu ice cream and honestly its quite nice. Get's the job done. You won't pay more than JPY500 so the prices are just fine. It's a pleasant place to stop before walking into the bamboo forest.
