    Seven seats only, a small casual yet elegant French bistro. Mr Kimura, the owner chef, used to work at a starred Michelin French restaurant, and started this bistro in Oct 2020. Many traditional French dishes with local ingredients. Good wine selection too. Credit card accepted.

    A hidden French bistro located on Bourbon Road near the west exit of Kamata Station.
    There are only 8 seats at the counter, so I made a reservation in advance.
    It's a store I've been interested in for a while.

    The interior of the restaurant has cute wallpaper and chandeliers, and it's fun to watch the food being prepared right in front of you!

    Anyway, the menu lineup is so interesting that I want to try it all.
    Here is the menu that I chose with that in mind.

    ▪︎Fig, walnut and gorgonzola pie
    The crispy pie crust is filled with figs and walnuts.
    And there's no way the sweetness of honey wouldn't go well with Gorgonzola.
    Wine starts with appetizers.

    ▪︎Flounder and sweet summer carpaccio style
    Carpaccio looks bright and beautiful.
    It's refreshing to eat sweet summer and flounder together! !
    I was surprised that the flounder was thick and there was a good amount of it.

    ▪︎Snow crab and scallop pie wrapped
    The moment I saw the menu, I knew I wanted to try this dish.
    I never thought I would be able to eat baked pie wraps outside of the course meal.
    The crispy, buttery pie is filled with snow crab and scallops.
    You should definitely order this! !

    ▪︎Wagyu beef tartare
    I had ordered meat as a main course, but I really wanted to try it so I added more.
    It's rich with a bit of spicy taste.
    It was the perfect accompaniment to red wine.

    ▪︎Roasted Magrecanal duck, dark cherry sauce
    I love the combination of duck and cherry.
    They separated it out and then served it to me!
    The large duck meat is tender and juicy.
    It was really big and each person had two pieces, so I was full.

    We have a wide selection of wines by the glass, from sparkling to red, white, rosé, and orange.
    I'm glad you can choose according to your cuisine and preferences.

    Overall, everything I ate was delicious, and the portions were large, so the cost performance was also very good!
    It was so delicious that I really wanted to conquer the whole menu, and there were only a few items I was interested in, so I will definitely be repeating and conquering the menu.

    Both the food and drinks are made with the utmost care from the staff.
    The fruit appetizers are especially impressive, and the balance of sweetness and sourness makes you feel happy the moment you eat them (no photos of the dishes)

    The main course, the quail, not only went well with the meat and sauce, but the synergistic effect of pairing it with the wine recommended by the waiter was amazing.

    The third place I visited for Kamata drinking the other day was

    Kotori to Ichigo is located on Bourbon Road.
