Kurahashi Takadanobaba Review Summary

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We were seated at the counter seat, and it was enjoyable to watch the chef cook right in front of us. Kudos to the chef for creating an okonomiyaki that wasn't as greasy as the ones I had in Tokyo. The atmosphere was fantastic. However, it may not be as accommodating to English-speaking foreigners, although an English menu is available upon request. Do drop by if you have the chance or if you’re craving for Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.

Very good Hiroshima style okonomiyaki restaurant. Also very interesting to watch the chef cook on the counter in front of you. Which is why eating at the counter is recommended. Happy hour from 17:00 to 19:00. Specialty is okonomiyaki but they also serve other dishes. At lunch you can have cheap and simple menu, at night you can get a bit more expensive and elaborate experience. Both are very good in their own way. Mochi okonomiyaki at night is a must.

Approximately 40% of customers attended.
I ordered ``Hiroshima Okonomiyaki'' for lunch for 980 yen.
You can double the amount of noodles.
As usual, I asked for 1.5x.
The mayonnaise changed the taste, but I finished it.
Personally, I'm just full with this amount.
Thank you for the meal.
There are counter seats in front of the iron plate and some table seats.
There is no problem with cleanliness.
