Amazing restaurant. Really great food in a beautiful Japanese decor. The set menu includes one meat dish, which is great! Price is quite resonqble, considering the quality.

I was lucky enough to visit Kyotenjin Noguchi, one of Kyoto's famous restaurants that is especially hard to get reservations for, and is fully booked for next year. The Kyoto Michelin 2-star restaurant opened in 2011 and is now in its 13th year. The restaurant is located in an old private house in a residential area and is truly a hidden gem.
The cooking is up to you, starting with sea urchin, hand-rolled sushi with caviar and shrimp, sashimi of honma tuna, grilled matsutake mushrooms from Iwate, grilled barracuda, cuttlefish meat with chrysanthemum flower dressing, eel, new lotus root, real Japanese pepper, and salmon roe sail. Dishes made with plenty of high-quality ingredients that are rich in umami, such as standing rice, mullet flake noodles, and salmon harasu chazuke, are served one after another.
We had white wine and Yamagata's dry sake Kamikigen served cold. I left it up to you, but it was an excellent choice. We were full and the bill was just under 60,000 yen per person. It is characterized by the generous use of high-quality ingredients for both the rabbit and the horn. The other thing is the friendly general's good personality and hospitality.
Although it is not a shop that I usually visit, I would like to visit again sometime.

Kaiseki cuisine
Personally, I am impressed by Himeji's conger conger.
There are many types of staple foods and you can choose
Salmon roe bowl, tekka bowl, oyakodon, sauce cutlet bowl, somen, dandan noodles, etc.
*I think it changes depending on the season.
