It is located in a separate building within XIV Yase Imperial Villa, and is accessed from the accommodation building through the courtyard and Kirara Bridge.
In addition to table seats with large windows overlooking the garden, there are also private rooms with chairs and private rooms with sunken kotatsu lanterns, making it a convenient and relaxing place for groups.
It's nice that the names of the private rooms are named after places in Kyoto 👍
We had breakfast, and it was all delicious with local vegetables and pickles.
You can choose between white rice and seaweed sauce, and since you can get free refills along with the pickles, you can enjoy both.
The service was attentive and I was able to spend a fulfilling time😊
I would like to go there for dinner next time.

Cross the bridge and head towards Kereki while enjoying the scenery.
The place was crowded and almost full, and I was concerned about the service, which seemed a little rushed.
It's fine to quickly lower empty plates, etc., but how about asking, "Shall I lower the plate for you?" when it's obvious that you've left an uneaten dish.
The entire meal takes about an hour for each course, so I don't eat that slowly, but I thought it would be a good idea to have the next dish brought to me while I was eating.
The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious so it's a bit disappointing 4 stars

October 23, 2023 Dinner
You can also take the hotel bus, but we walked to the separate building (^-^)
I asked for dinner later because I might be late returning from Kyoto, but that was a bit of a mistake (lol)
It's a shame because I was able to return to XIV sooner than expected.・°°・(>_<)・°°・.
I asked for a private room at Kareki, which was great 😄😄
Each item is carefully made❗️
Kaiseki is about enjoying the tableware, enjoying the food with your eyes, and finally enjoying the taste! ️,,, This is my personal opinion 😆😆
I was able to enjoy all of Kareki-san's dishes 😋😋😋
The matsutake mushroom soup was not made with domestic matsutake mushrooms, so I heard that they would also use domestic matsutake mushrooms (^.^)
I decided to have domestically produced food for two people and compare it with foreign products! ️
The matsutake mushrooms were also small, but I feel like the domestic ones had a richer flavor 🤣🤣
Personally, I don't like conger eel or eel, so I told the staff and they cooked it with other fish instead...I'm glad 👍👍🙇♀️🙇♀️
It was so delicious that my stomach started to swell (lol)
Unfortunately, I left only a mouthful of rice... I'm sorry ❗️ I can't eat anymore 🙏 😆😆
I thought, ``I don't want sweets!'' Of course, I ate all the desserts 🍨 (even though I was already super full)
Everything was delicious!! ️,,, Thank you for the meal!! ️
The reception from the staff was also polite and nice. ️
Thank you for the enjoyable meal time! ️

There's only one thing that's extremely disappointing...
The food took a very long time to come out (^_^)
It was a delicious meal, so it would have been great if you had brought it at a better time 😄😄😄
That was the only part that was a little disappointing❣️
Next time I visit you, it will be a wonderful time! ️ Nice to meet you!! ️ It's 😊😊😊
