La Cucina Vivace Review Summary

This is one of those restaurants where you have to look for it. It's not along the main sidewalk -- it's in an alley. It's definitely a hidden gem. We were lucky we found it.

We recommend making a reservation but you can get lucky and they'll have space for you.

The restaurant is small but it's not claustrophobic. I recommend getting a bar seat if possible since you can watch the chef and his partner in action.

In terms of food. It's probably the best lasagna I've had. My wife's carbonara, she says, is excellent as well. We both got desserts. Those were great as well. My wife mentioned it's the best panna cotta she'd had.

I definitely recommend this for dates. I wouldn't recommend this for people with children.

It's a hidden Italian restaurant near the Suidobashi station. I visited this place because I heard their lasagna is good. I ordered tomato-marinated squids, lasagna, lamb chops, and assorted desserts. I loved their lasagna! The sauce of squids was very spicy so be careful. The dessert was nice because I could choose three from a lot of choice!

Weekday lunch.
It's almost full from before 12:00.
If you order a course, you can also make a reservation for lunch, so I ordered the pasta lunch course for 3,300 yen.
The pasta sauce is delicious, so I wish I had added some bread.
If you can wait a little bit, you can probably get in without a reservation.

For 1,100 yen, you get a salad, a drink, and a super delicious pasta...!
The ladies in the hall and the ladies in the kitchen all had wonderful smiles and were very attentive.
If I had a wonderful shop like this in my neighborhood, I would go there every day!

Last time I passed by, there was a line and I couldn't get in, so I decided to try again.
The pasta was so delicious!
Next time I would like to try the course meal.
I should have ordered the course from the beginning (lol)
