Le Bouchon Ogasawara Review Summary

We had an amazing time at this restaurant. They have an open kitchen and you can watch the chefs cook. We got the boullabaise which is a popular dish -- strongly recommend adding on the additional course of risotto made from the leftover boullabaise broth for an additional 600 yen. Everything was delicious and servings were generous. Even the salad with bacon bits came with freshly fried bacon. You can also order wine by glass, carafe, or bottles.

Menu is in Japanese and we used our phone to translate. We had our local friend call in for reservations. The wait staff speak a little English; they do not have an English menu so it'd be good if you know minimal Japanese.

Lovely spot for some French food. The appetisers and entrees were all well prepared and well portioned. We were celebrating a special occasion and when the staff found out they made us a special dessert platter which we really appreciated.

I like the free flow bread with crispy crust, the prawn stock in the bouillabaisse, the potato cheese beef dish. Special mention to the roast pork, which had a very nice brown butter berry sauce.

Delicious foods, clean, cheerful staff, and reasonable prices. Great casual French bistro to take friends or family in Shibuya.

I reserved this steak in advance. They are no longer open past midnight.
Their steak is not what I wanted though still very good.
