Le Bretagne Bar A Cidre Review Summary

Recommended by my team leader, who had been living in France for years. I really enjoyed the food, the crepe and the cidre! And the French (?) staff is so sweet, I cannot understand Japanese well and he explained all the stuff in English for me, which I really appreciate. Have added to my top list in Tokyo!

Delicious food from Bretagne, beautiful restaurant, service of restaurant was patchy- good by some and a bit less by others, but overall we were quite satisfied and will definitely come back several times. We went to the restaurant and the café/bar (with lovely service) on different dates; and also got take away (tarte au sarrasin with bacon, zucchini and red pepper which was like quiche and kouign-amman with raisins which tasted like a more buttery pain aux raisins). Everything was excellent. We will try next their creperie which is a few streets away, and next to the deli (also the same company) where we bought the cider and the buckwheat crepe and gallette which we brought home.

A nice place with good vibes. The place is not cheap, but it's worth to taste a bit of France and you can try out your French, oui?We had lunch with a glass of cider. The daily course is recommended. The Camembert cheese galette was not their best. During summer you can sit outside, the terrace has a nice breeze.

Gorgeous representative of the balance between French and Japanese cuisines. Chef Marc and staff work their magic with food, wine and cidre in a charming hidden alleyway of Kagurazaka.

It has a lot influence from JP culture but still french restaurant. You can enjoy a new taste.
