Lever Son Verre Komaba Review Summary

The lunch menu is reasonably priced, and the quality of the food is excellent. The only thing that can be asked is the quantity of the food. I was not super hungry when I came to this restaurant, but the quantity of the food would have been inadequate if I was hungry.

A cozy French restaurant in the middle of the university. You can book a room for function.

This French restaurant is located in the midst of the green and tranquil (off-term, at least!) campus of the University of Tokyo at Komaba. I enjoyed a delicious lunch as the guest of a professor; I'm not sure whether the restaurant is available to the public or just the university community. If you have the opportunity, it's a lovely place! The menu featured French and Japanese dishes. We enjoyed the set lunch menu (prix fixe!) consisting of appetizer, main, dessert and coffee. I opted for the pâté campagnard and pork in creole sauce -- both yummy. Dessert featured gourmet vanilla ice cream and fruit on a base of sweetened shaved ice. The room was pleasant, with some French touches. It was a wonderful lunch.

A nice basic French restaurant. They often do a limited course menu on a first come first serve basis. Otherwise you can choose from two options for lunch with an extensive salad bar and some good bread. The staff can be on the robotic side.

Fancy place for school lunch, best to treat visitors or special occasions. Beautiful interior.
