Had an absolutely incredible dinner at L’Octave (Mid Apr 2023). Great food, great vibes, every course served was a feast for both the eyes and tummy. The wagyu beef and onion soup is superb!

L'Octave Hayato Kobayashi on Kitasando.
Loktave Hayatokobayashi.

In 2021, this restaurant has been selected as one of the 100 famous Tabelog restaurants.
Due to the fact that they are operating in one operation, it seems that there are only two groups per day.

The store is decorated with very fashionable and tasteful accessories.
The production is also good, using humorous utensils.
Chef Kobayashi trained in France and served as sous chef at L'Effervéçons and chef at Orex before opening this restaurant.

This time I went for the 18,000 yen course.
The most important thing about the food is that the ingredients are good, the sauce is very delicious, and the cooking is simple but very careful.
So everything is delicious.
In modern French cuisine, there are dishes that are a little off-topic and some that are creative and challenging, but the best thing is that they are delicious.
Since it's a one-off restaurant, there are some pauses between dishes, but this is a restaurant that you can enjoy in a good way.
I feel like there wasn't one amuse item, but I was very satisfied.
This is a restaurant that I can honestly say was fun and delicious.
