Good French restaurant near the University of Tokyo. The chef and his wife have been in France in the past to perfect their skills, and we can feel it. The specialities are inspired from dishes of the Jura (central part of France), but are quite adapted. I really enjoyed the full course dîner there. The wines are all from the Jura. This is not the best region to produce wines, yet the chef selected very good ones so that you might not be disappointed. The restaurant is however quite expensive as we ended paying 12000 Yens each. Definitely a restaurant that you should visit occasionally if you enjoy French cuisine. Or for big occasion. Or again for a romantic dinner (the decoration is in the old French style: from 30s - 60s).

I love the taste and how cosy the restaurant which owned by nice Japanese couples. It’s not big space. (Maximum 14~16plp) , Better to make a reservation ! Price range ¥4,000~¥7,000/person (exclude drinks) , no parking , no smoking.

I had the Jura course.
I was nervous because I wasn't used to French food, but the woman (the chef's wife?) carefully explained each dish and served it to me, which helped me as I was nervous about how to eat it.
Everything was delicious, but the main dish, Date Tori, was especially delicious.
