This was our first time trying monjayaki. Staff were extremely kind and patient, even offering to cook for us. English menu available and prices very reasonable. We tried both monja and okonomiyaki, everything was delicious. Especially recommend the apricot sours. Thank you for a lovely meal and great memory :)

They have various menu as small portion so you can try many of them. Monjyayaki is a kind of fried pizza that people make by themselves on the hot steel pan. It is yammy and sticky. Also they have nice tuna sashimi and some noodles. I recommend anko-red bean-yaki for the desert. The place is full of smoke and hard to have a conversation since it is crowded and famous restaurant.

Came here on a food tour and had a blessed time. The food was very tasty and the service was very polite. I lost my hat here, which bears no real relevance but I often think about how my hat got to stay in such a great place and I hope it's doing well for itself now.

Used to be my go to monjya for the last 10 years. Shrinkflation has hit this place hard along with the fame of endorsements of popular tv personalities. The last two times I went there, the cabbage was not enough to even make the reservoir for the monjya paste. Out of all the things to stinge on you would think paste and cabbage will be the last as it’s maybe 50 yen maximum. They just need to raise the price instead of giving us miniature monjya bowls for the same price as 2019. I’ve moved on, I live 50 meters from this place and eat monjya on a weekly basis, there are 100s of monjya in the street, my money goes elsewhere now! I have lots of points cards if anyone wants to eat the Barbie size monjya here.
