“Need to make a reservation in advance before you go”
We walked-in around 12.30 and staff said next available is 3pm. So we spent time in Arashiyama area and came back.

1 set can get soooo many deep fried skewer and also it comes with soup(this soup was so good) and pot of rice. Rice and soup can refill for free. Once we finished they provided yuzu jelly and choice of drink that you can choose aswell.

Overall Food was great and Service was “Amazing!” Staff was so attentive. Thank you guys for very warm welcome and also try to explain how to order and eat step by step🙏🏻👍🏻😊

Amazing Tempura experience like never before, recommended to book in advance as they are popular, only downside is a bit of long walk from main attractions, but it's worth the effort!

Highly recommended for those who want to have lunch while looking at Arashiyama. It's also fun to be able to choose a few pieces of tempura for yourself. I got off at the station one step before Arashiyama Station, so the road was clear and it was easy to get there. We only accept reservations so...

I went to Arashiyama to see the autumn leaves with a friend and made a reservation at a restaurant for lunch ♪ It was a hot summer day, but it was still a hot summer day, but there was a restaurant far away from Togetsukyo Bridge. My legs hurt from sitting at the Hori Kotatsu at the counter, so I was glad I chose this seat instead of the tatami room♪...
