Super high quality food for the price you pay! Must visit if you can get a reservation. We did the 9:30 pm time and it was late but well worth the wait. The chefs are so good and the food and menu was amazing. Everything was fresh and high quality given the price point. Definitely come !

This was my 2nd time trying Manten Sushi with my first at Marunouchi. Be sure to make a reservation online (deposit required), price has increased since last year but still reasonable. You don't have to eat snacks before coming here, you'll be full after the entire course! I made the mistake the first time. They will seat you only during the timing you've booked due to seat timings allocated so you have to wait outside if you are early. Staff is friendly, lively and very welcoming, speaks some English. I noticed two third of the customers are tourists. I thoroughly enjoyed my 24 dishes (I counted), with my favourite being the sea urchin and fatty tuna: very creamy. Pairs well with a sake which I was told from Hokkaido. Note that dishes and the number varies across days and branches given that it's omakase.

Excellent and affordable omakase! Difficult to get a reservation slot but managed to get one before my friends and I left Japan. Everything was meticulously prepared and the chefs remembered that I am unable to eat wasabi, so they ensured that all my dishes had no hint of wasabi. Was served about 20 sushi/dishes and was very full at the end of the course. Highly recommend to try Manten if you’re looking for good quality, pocket-friendly prices omakase.

4.5 rating, this restaurants serves omakase sushi at a reasonable price. You will definitely be full after this course (over 20 different items). You could opt for sushi without the rice if you’re getting full.

Be advise since it is omakase they could serve liver, fish roe, cod sperm sac, seaweed etc. so might not be best for those with less adventurous palates. They do ask if you have any dietary restrictions.

Reservations get filled up quickly I booked 1month in advance and there wasn't many slots left but they do have 2 other branches nearby.

Quality was good, the chef spoken some English to explain what we were eating. Majority of guest were tourist but we did see a few locals dining here as well

Only comment was there was less emphasis in the particular order of the sushi given (usually some would say to start with lighter tasting first) so I've see some customers receive different order of sushi to ours, but at this price point not expecting much.
