Actually I went there by mistaken as a Sri Lankan food restaurant. Many Japanese online websites have categorized it as Sri Lankan Food. But it is a Sri Lankan style (スリランカ風カレー)curry restaurant. However, the owner of the place is so friendly and kind. He told us about his experience in Sri Lanka. How much he loves it there. And also he mentioned that the food he is making there actually the recipes from his Father in law's.
The food there was amazing. As we entered the restaurant the smell of curry, the mix of spices and tamarind broiling was filled out the whole restaurant. It felt like my grandmother's kitchen just because of that wonderful fragrance. We ordered the restaurant's special "Sujata Curry" and beef curry. They were super duper delicious. No doubts about the capabilities of the chef. I would go there one day again.

Marie Airangany is a curry restaurant founded in October 2014, located a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station on the JR Yamanote Line.

It's a little hard to find, but if you take the elevator to the 5th floor and turn left, you will arrive at the store. Since it was right after opening on the weekend, I was one of the first to visit.

I ordered the pork curry, which has received good reviews.
I asked for a cola to drink.

The pork curry is steaming and from the looks of it, it looks piping hot and delicious! Let's start with the roux, it's delicious!

It's a smooth type, with the sweetness of onions followed by a hint of spice! Tokimasu. I can't stand the bitter taste that lingers in the aftertaste. The refreshing spiciness also feels good!

The chunks of pork are tender, and you can taste the sweetness of the pork fat and the flavor of the meat for an exquisite dish. I feel like I can eat all the white rice with this pork.

It goes great with the hard-cooked rice, roux, and pork! As you continue eating, the spices will make you sweat, giving you a refreshing feeling. it's the best.

Is it different from regular Sri Lankan curry? However, I think it's a pretty delicious spiced curry.

If you want to eat curry in Shibuya, this is one of the restaurants I recommend! Thank you for the meal.
