As a tourist visiting Tokyo, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maruushi Meat, and I have to say, it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the restaurant's sleek, modern design. It had a vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the meat. Maruushi Meat clearly prides itself on quality. The cuts of beef we ordered, particularly the wagyu, were exquisite. Beautifully marbled and incredibly tender, they practically melted in my mouth. The grilling process, whether at the table or done in the kitchen, enhanced the natural flavors of the meat, creating a truly delicious experience. We also tried some of their other grilled dishes, including chicken and vegetables, which were equally well-prepared.
The drink menu complemented the meal perfectly. They offered a good selection of Japanese beers and sake, as well as some international wines. I opted for a local beer, which paired wonderfully with the rich flavors of the grilled meat.
The service at Maruushi Meat was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to offer recommendations and explain the different cuts of meat. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed or neglected.
While the overall experience was excellent, it’s worth noting that Maruushi Meat is not a budget-friendly option. The high quality of the meat is reflected in the price, so be prepared to spend a bit more than you would at a typical yakiniku restaurant. However, I believe the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justifies the cost.
Overall, I highly recommend Maruushi Meat to anyone looking for a premium yakiniku experience in Tokyo. The combination of delicious meat, stylish ambiance, and excellent service makes it a truly worthwhile dining destination. I would definitely return on my next trip to Tokyo.

If you're planning to hit up Yakiniku Maruushi, make sure to book an appointment. This place gets busy!
Yakiniku Maruushi isn't your typical Japanese yakiniku spot. It's more of a Korean fusion vibe, which makes it pretty unique. The meat quality is top-notch, so you're in for a treat there.
Service-wise, it's solid. They cook some of the meat for you, which is nice, but you'll be on grill duty for the rest. It's kind of fun, though, and adds to the experience.
Overall, I'd give Yakiniku Maruushi a 3.5 out of 5. The fusion twist and quality meat are definite perks, but the DIY grilling might not be everyone's cup of tea. Still, worth checking out if you're up for something different!

Pleasantly surprised with this yakiniku joint near Kyobashi / Ginza. I originally wanted to try the yakitori downstairs but it was fully booked, they managed to find me a table at short notice and the staff are very friendly and can speak English.
I really liked the wagyu potato salad.
Edit: the lady waitress was very friendly and was able to chat in English and explain the menu but I did not get her name. All the staff were great please keep up the good friendly service!.
It was very good value for money will definitely come back, only negative was the karubi soup, its more like korean beef kimchi stew and not a beef rib soup so beware.

Had the wagyu set, good value of money. Friend booked this dinner and i came with no expectation. Apart from the beef, most other food are in korean style. Beef was nice and i like their strong ventilation!
