Food was OK, but I still very much prefer the similarly served katsu at the other famous places in Kamata, which have the same price anyway.
Service was a little cold, and often the staff used language that was too casual (and thus, felt a bit disrespectful).
When we were asked to be seated, we were sat on the table which wasn’t even cleaned yet. And there were a couple of staff behind the counter who weren’t in the middle of something so we knew they probably just forgot to clean the tables.

The taste and experience wasn’t bad at all, but there is no compelling reason for us to go back again.

This is officially my favorite tonkatsu place in Tokyo. The restaurant is rather small with mostly counter seating and one table. The owners are super nice and will chat with you while you eat. And the pork here is absolutely delicious. They undercook it just a little so you get a pink center, but it is tender and juicy and perfect. Price is reasonable too. An absolute must try.

Extremely huge portion. The katsu were well fried and very tender at the inside.

    The best tonkatsu in Tokyo.
    Small shop nearby JR蒲田駅(Kamata JR).
Avoid lunch time. Small shop with 16 counter seat and 1 table for 4 person.

Lunch set super value for money (1000 yen). The fried Oyster is die die must try.
    Run by 3 friendly staff.

If you are a meat or Tonkatsu lover, this is the place you have to visit. Will be back again. 😋😋😋

    5-star katsu restaurant!
If you only know katsu curry in UK, you'll
be amazed by the katsu curry here which has tender pork loin katsu fried with specialized panko for katsu and tasty but a bit spacy curry sauce.
