Maruyama Review Summary

I had a meal with my family. All the dishes are authentic and delicious (^^)
I eat quite a lot, but each dish was so voluminous that I was full, but it was delicious till the end.
The roasted lamb was especially delicious. .
My family enjoyed it and we had a great time.
As a side note, the picture of the dog drawn by the chef is cute.

My husband, who travels around Japan on business, eats delicious food from all over the country, and says this restaurant is the best in Japan. I always go there once a month.
The owner and chef, who has a great craftsmanship, may seem unfriendly until you get used to him, but he is very friendly when you talk to him.

I'd like to keep it a secret because I don't want to be able to make a reservation, but I'll tell you.

My partner said that this would make me want white wine, but since it was lunch, I had to hold back a little lol.

The Jerusalem artichoke soup was light and earthy, and I felt the power of vegetables.

The main fish dish is also thick and the seafood sauce is exquisite. The accompanying vegetables were also solid, so they were delicious together with the sauce.

Dolce's mandarin oranges had a Japanese feel to them, which was also good.

This is a basement bistro in Sakuradai, Nerima Ward, known only to those in the know.
I've only been there for lunch, but it's a restaurant with quality that rivals Minato-ku's French restaurants, and the prices are reasonable and cost-effective.
On this day, I only ordered specialty items that cost several hundred yen more, so it was a bit expensive, but I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the regular menu.
If you are visiting for lunch for the first time, please try ordering a salad as an appetizer...you will be surprised♪

A small French restaurant located in front of Sakuradai Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. When I entered the underground store, there were four table seats. What surprised me was that this store was run entirely by the owner. Therefore, you cannot expect much in terms of service. In fact, it can be a bit stressful as you have to pay attention to the busy owner while ordering. However, if you understand that it is a restaurant like that, you can enjoy delicious course meals that you won't believe are being prepared by just one person.
Choose your favorite course from the buffet menu. I chose foie gras terrine and risotto as an appetizer, sautéed sea bass as a main dish, and gateau chocolate for dessert. Everything is beautifully arranged and can be enjoyed visually. The taste was also perfect. This cost less than 10,000 yen for two people including drinks, so it's very reasonable.
