Best sushi of my life in this small and cozy restaurant found by chance.

The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned and the taste of the different fish is incredible.

The sushi chef is really nice and he makes the sushi in front of you.

Go for lunch if you want to get the best price. I paid 6 500 yens for a complete menu and a beer.

Very confused about the price. The first time I went it was $32. The next time it was $73. I ordered the same omakase for dinner each time. First time was a weekday, the next was a weekend. The chef is very kind but I feel weird about this. Was planning to make it my usual

We made a reservation through our hotel based on the recommendation of a friend who learned of this restaurant from a local living in Tokyo. Wow! So authentic, welcoming, and absolutely delicious omakase meal. We sat at the counter, which was so much fun watching all the dishes being plated. Not inexpensive, but top quality and genuine atmosphere is always worth the extra cost. Reservations a must.

A small sushi spot with mostly counter seating and 3 tables that seat 4, it appeared that they mostly offer omakase style (chef's choice) dinner, though you can ask for items ala carte, as well as informing them of items you don't like or want. My spouse speaks Japanese, so our party of 4 relied on her linguistic skills. Everything we had was delicious, even the stuff that we might bot have ordered otherwise (like the small baby fish, for example). We all also liked that it wasn't just sushi and sashimi being served, but the dining experience was interspersed with cooked items. We didn't know how the ambiance and dress code was going to be, but we noticed one person wearing a backward hat and shorts, so casual wear seems acceptable. It was not the super quiet sushi places we had been before, and I enjoyed being able to chat with our friends without having to speak in a hushed voice. At the end of the set omakase, they will ask if you want to continue (aka are you still hungry). Anything else you want will be an extra charge.

I love this sushi bar! The food starting with the crabs, grilled scallops wrapped in nori, the mackerel, everything was delicious. The sushi chef, there for 20 years, was absolutely delightful. He was friendly, warm and had happy eyes. You need reservations it is always full. But it a neighbourhood sushi bar, and there is a lovely atmosphere because there was a family with children.
