Meishusho Kushikoma Honten Review Summary

This is a small izakaya that requires reservations and pre-ordering a set menu, and it’s often fully booked, making it quite hard to get a spot. We were lucky to secure a reservation as we were eager to try a variety of rare sake that’s hard to find elsewhere. Here, you can enjoy your pre-selected small bites while savoring premium sakes like Juyondai, Imamoto, Aramasa, and more.

The sake selection was outstanding and definitely worth a visit. The hostess was very friendly and spoke some English, If you’re a sake lover, this place is worth checking out! 😀

Normally I don't post reviews but the exceptional customer service here was too incredible not to mention. During the meal, the waitress took the time to explain everything we were eating and even helped us to de-bone the fish. But the AMAZING thing was when the waitress went on her bike to chase us all the way to the metro station after dinner as we had left our camera at the restaurant. You just don't see this kind of service every day. Not enough superlatives to express our gratitude.

The food and sake are quite good.
