Mejiro Shunkou-tei Review Summary

If you are from Singapore, this restaurant reminds me of The Ship but with better food.

The chef’s omakase course was well priced and hearty on a cold winter’s night. The cold appetiser was a little odd with a mixture of seafood, duck and pate but everything else thereafter was excellent.

The only gripe is the dessert- we chose the shaved ice and you can give that a miss. Beyond that, come and try!

Stayed near Zoshigaya Station and stumbled upon this Michelin Bib Gourment restaurant. Gave it a try. Order 150g Japanese Beef steak (3600jpy) and a deep fried potato and minced meat croquette (600jpy). Taste wise was very good. The steak was very well cooked and it’s very juicy and chewy.

I had Christmas dinner here. It was very nice.

Surprisingly light frit was delicious. And the service as quite nice and family friendly. Not so crowded even on weekends lunch. Recommend.

Just visit. I love the flavor but the head of staff (the manager I guess) is so rude to me. Maybe it is because I am a foreigner.
