Menhan Shokudo Nakajima Review Summary

My favorite tantanmen right now. Their fried rice is also delicious. Service is amazing, layout is fire, and atmosphere is cool. One of the best places to eat in Tokyo area. Just go and try anything. A must-go if you are in Tokyo. Don’t miss out!

The ramen here is very special! I ordered the spicy pork, Ramen, and I really loved everything about it, it was creamy, savory, spicy, salty, and pretty much just perfect. Brother got the miso ramen and I really liked his too. Prices are between 800-1000 yen. They also offer fried rice and other dishes.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. You will need to use google translator here as the menu and ordering machine is totally in Japanese.

Atmosphere is very cool. Great smells and fun to watch the food be prepared.

Had the most delicious fried rice here! I was helped with the machine as soon as I arrived as it was in Japanese. Seeing the chefs prepare the food and deliver it you made you feel that it was done with love and care. And upon departing, having all the chefs thanking you and saying goodbye was an excellent way to end the experience.

I wanted some vegetable tanmen and came across this place in my search so gave it a try. It’s got a nice ambiance with tables and chairs, and a nice high ceiling. The tanmen was really good and the broth was super tasty. The gyoza had a crunchy bottom which I like, but the inside wasn’t warm enough in my opinion, so they kinda fell fat for me. Pretty big portions for decent prices. I’d probably come back for some other items in the future. Fast and friendly service.

Gave this place 4 stars due to the overall space and layout, I know it’s Tokyo and there is an abundance of space but just how they situate people within the restaurant could be a bit better. The food though was A plus, my wife was craving some Chinese food since we’ve been here for over two weeks. Flavours were on point and the serving sizes good for the price you pay!
