We arrived at 10:30 on a weekday and there was no wait, the restaurant opened at 11:00. On weekdays, you can eat without waiting if you arrive at the restaurant on time of opening. Old-fashioned style where you are asked to order and pay after eating. Payment is by cash only.

    ◎Special Shamoi Soba 1650 yen
Once you take a sip of the soup, you will be captivated. The chicken flavor and the mild soy sauce taste will make you fall in love with it. The noodles are thin and straight, and the taste of the soup is one of the three best soy sauce ramen I have ever had.

Honestly it was underwhelming and definitely overhyped…not to say it was bad per se, but at ¥1650 a bowl with such underwhelming taste…(yes, I know it can be subtle and I am keen to subtlety, but this wasn’t it, there are better places) cost performance is low. I’m still giving it 4 stars because the shop logo and interior vibes are cool.

Soup: ordered the special shamo-soba, something was missing, underwhelming, but once again not terrible either

Noodles: standard straight chunks soba noodles, al dente, always goes well with shoyu

Toppings: charsiu was good, not great, but good. Not much else topping wise

The Shamo-ramen was good, really well assembled but it lacked a punch. The noodles are nice and chewy but the meat can be better. Overall it's a good ramen but not exceptional. The service is good and quite fast (even if there were 8 people ahead of us). The atmosphere is quite fresh for a ramen bar with tons of skater related art

It’s a famous ramen restaurant in this area. I was really hesitant about which flavor should I get. I went for the one with dry-fish flavor. The taste was special but I think I should take the one with chicken flavor. Anyway, it’s a nice restaurant with young and fresh vibe.

The best noodles I have had so far in Tokyo. They were delicious. The broth was very well balanced and the meat was so fresh and juicy. As a spice lover I wished that there was a spicy ramen option. The staff are very kind, the wait for the food is not too long.
