Menya Hyottoko Yurakucho Review Summary

The broth was light and surprisingly flavourful! The shop is tiny but the line moved fast during lunch hour.

I got the yuzu pork ramen and upsized for additional ¥200.

Excellent ramen. I am not the biggest fan of shio broth, but this one was very good. The pork here was particularly outstanding- so tender and flavorful. Melts in your mouth. The bamboo shoots had a marinade that I didn’t care for, but overall the bowl was on point. Lactated in the basement floor of the mall.

For those looking hidden gem, i recommend to try their Yuzu ramen.
Its smooth, the pork also really soft.
A good price for value.
Although the place is quite small with limited seating, it's one of the charm of this places.
Especially if you're looking for eating like local experiences.

This yuzu ramen is incredible! The broth is light but flavorful and the pork was succulent. (You also can get it without the yuzu but I’d highly recommend the yuzu as it adds a nice tang to the light broth.)

As mentioned in plenty of reviews, there are only 7 seats so don’t expect to sit with your friend or party. Order at the machine and wait for a seat to open. The machine has pictures of which options include yuzu.

This was probably one of the best ramens we ate in Japan.
