Family run restaurant, very intimate. Sweet service. Two of us both had the fried set meal - shrimp, croquettes, and the most delicious asparagus soup.
I was keen to try yoshoku cuisine in Kyoto and this place did not disappoint - recommended!


Amazing food made to order at counter top, incredible seasonal soups (we had white asparagus and French onion), lightly fried shrimp with Mayo and “2 week” slow roasted beef beyond words, with


Steak is top quality. Cooked medium rare, the meat was melt in your mouth tender and red inside.

Outside was browned and crispy. Just a perfect steak throughout. Each bite had the thin crispy maillard goodness followed by buttery tender and delicious beef!

White Asparagus soup was delicious. Creamy smooth and rich with an satisfyingly heavy mouthfeel. Presented with some chives and crumbles for texture.

I Recommend this hidden gem in Ninenzaka to anyone.
