Miuratei Review Summary

Tomato soup, salad, omurice, happy with everything I had! (Wanted to try Hamburger steak too as it looked and smelt amazing) Also it was great to watch the food being prepped every step of the way. Highly recommend, but reservation is needed prior to visit.

``Yoshoku Miura-tei'' is located at the end of the restaurant street, less than a 6-minute walk from the station. This is a long-established restaurant that was founded in 2003, and is unusual in that you can make reservations starting from lunch. It has been selected as one of Tabelog's 100 Famous Restaurants three times.

Visited without a reservation right after opening on a weekday. I was lucky to get in, but all the customers who came after me without reservations were turned away, so reservations are recommended. The place was fully booked from 12:00 to 13:00. Phone calls are also becoming more frequent.

There are only 5 counter seats inside the store, all of which are operated by the owner. This time, I ordered the most popular hamburger steak with cheese.

The hamburger itself has few joints and is well-made, allowing you to feel the concentration of the meat itself. It is well-cooked, juicy yet satisfying to eat.

In addition, the level of tomato-based soup is high. You can clearly taste the tomato flavor while being light. It was at this moment that I felt the pride that only a restaurant specializing in Western food can have.

Faithful to the basics, classic and honestly delicious. There is a high chance that walk-ins will be refused, so unless you live in the area, it's best to call in advance even on the day of your visit. Thank you for the meal!

All of the dishes were carefully prepared, had a nice atmosphere, and were very delicious. The homemade demi-glace sauce was light but had a deep flavor that I felt for the first time. The owner was friendly and we had a great time talking about various things.

After about 10 minutes, the main hamburger was served.
If you cut it firmly, the juices will come out.
The seasoning of the sauce and garnishes are gentle and not too strong.
It might be a little unsatisfactory for me who is used to strong flavors.
I would like to try a different menu next time.
The inside of the store is small, but the owner is serious and likes cleanliness, so it was my favorite store.

This time, I wanted to try something other than the signature hamburger steak and omelet rice, so I ordered chicken curry. It doesn't seem to come out very often, and the shop owner was surprised and said, Wow, it's rare. (lol)

It was so delicious! The chicken was soft and the spiciness was just right, so I ate it all in one go!

I want to try chicken curry again, but I also want to try something different. I'll think about it a lot until the next time I go ^*^
