Moukotanmen Nakamoto Okachimachi Review Summary

The noodles was fine, it's not the best i have tried, it is a place where a lot of people coming so you will have to wait at least 15 minutes and more. The shop is specialized in spice where you can choose from 1 to 5 to 10 or more. The soup base is fine as i said, it is a fine shop but not the greatest, there are alot of menu so you might get intimidated by the amount of menu on the ordering machine so be careful.

I would recommend to look at the menu online first and decide on what to eat so that you won't have to make trouble for other.

Would recommend to go with a friend or two as well as the food is spicy so you are going to take some time eating it all😹

Had to wait in quite the queue for a spot during peak lunch hours, but this is worth it if you're a spice lover 🔥🔥🔥
This shop is a vending machine noodle shop that can be a little difficult if you don't have google translat image scans. Thankfully, all of the buttons show the spice number.
I would definitely make a stop back here IF there is a lesser wait for a bar spot.

The Ramen was enough to be pleased, but the service is amazing as the staff was very attentive and supportive as we couldn't order on the ticket machine as it had all Japanese words, but the staff will help you with an English menu and show you how to order.

It's hot. I don't know about being super hot. Pretty addicting though.
Be aware if you order additional rice, pick han raisu? (half rice) instead of just rice. Unless you want to end up with a mountain of rice.

I don’t get what the hype as with this restaurant… so many people lining up outside, so I thought it might be good. Turns out it’s just Spicy miso Ramen LOL. First the ticket machine was absolute chaos with like 1000 buttons to choose from with no English and no help from the staff, good luck to all foreigners. The staff aren’t friendly, maybe they could be, but definitely not when the shop is busy. You’re not really supposed to take photos inside as they want people to eat and leave ASAP. The noodle itself was very bland, but just numbing spice. Overall, I would not recommend. Unless you just want your mouth to feel that numbing sensation, but then I rather go to proper Chinese food…
