Recently relocated legendary Chinese restaurant in Shibuya. Be ready to queue and also make sure not to overstay your welcome - they won't serve you additional alcohol without accompaniment of food. Also, don't forget to order the signature house yakisoba.

[As a result, it is used like a pub]

It has been about a year since the store moved from Dogenzaka to the back of Tokyu Plaza. The restaurant in Dogenzaka was featured on the TV show Kodoku no Gourmet and was much busier than usual, so I guess it's a bit calmer now that it's a new restaurant.
    First visit to this store.

Since the store doesn't accept reservations, I was a little worried as I headed to the store with two senior executives in the television production industry. Since it was just before 6pm, the place was about 30% full, so we were able to get seated easily. Wow, that was good.

After 30 minutes, the place was almost full. The banquet for eight people has also begun.

Usually when I go to a champon shop, I usually go for lunch, so I usually just eat ``champon'', but this was a dinner with two of my seniors. We decided to start with a snack, eat some main food, and finish with Sara Udon and Champon.

First, let's have a toast with draft beer (700 yen including tax).

Serve the ``sai na'' to your husband. An elegant taste that is not too spicy.

“Spring rolls (700 yen for 2)”…served with mustard soy sauce. You can order one additional piece of dim sum for more than one person, so I ordered three pieces (1050 yen for three pieces). It's great to have such a customizable service.

“Karashi Jellyfish (700 yen including tax)”: Jellyfish mixed with cucumber and mustard. It is flavored with not too strong mustard and is delicious. It's quite good as a snack with alcohol.

“Fried burdock root (700 yen including tax)”…Simple and delicious.

Change your drink to Lemon Sour (700 yen including tax)...It leaves the aftertaste of fried food refreshing.

“Fried octopus (700 yen including tax)”…The batter has a strong flavor and is delicious.

``Five pieces of grilled gyoza (700 yen including tax)''...Since there were three of us, the restaurant changed it to six pieces. Each piece costs 140 yen, so the total is 840 yen.
Enjoy with the restaurant's original sauce. The sauce is a combination of vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil. What was brought to us were fine winged dumplings. The filling is a compact mixture of cabbage, chives, and ground pork, and the skin is crispy and delicious. Must order again next time.

yeah? ...As I was munching, I suddenly felt full around here... It's crazy, I can't help but eat Champon and Sara Udon.

In my mind, I had listed ``simmered shrimp in chili sauce (1,700 yen including tax)'', ``Chicken and cashew nuts (1,700 yen including tax)'', and ``Green Pepper Meat Thread (1,700 yen including tax)'' as options that I wanted to try, but I couldn't eat them. I didn't think I would be able to eat cod champon, so I ordered Sara Udon (1000 yen including tax) first.
...Sara udon ingredients include cabbage, bean sprouts, clams, squid, and kamaboko. Sara udon with crispy thin noodles goes surprisingly well with sake. The same goes for adding mustard.

In the end, I ordered Champon (1000 yen including tax), although it was a bit hard on my stomach.

The soup is pork bone based and mild. It has a deep flavor, probably because it contains oyster extract. And while you can feel the salt, you can also taste the richness. The noodles are also imported from Nagasaki, so you can enjoy authentic Champon at this restaurant.

Customers were coming one after another, so my stomach was full, and if I didn't leave soon, I'd cause trouble for the next customer.

Next time I'll try to adjust my stomach so I can eat the main appetizer.

Sara udon from a popular restaurant!
This restaurant was also introduced in Kodoku no Gourmet. A famous restaurant that serves Nagasaki's specialty ``Champon'' and ``Sara Udon.''
When I went there at 1pm on a Saturday, there were 5 people in line, but the rotation was good and I arrived within 10 minutes.I immediately ordered ``Sara Udon'' and it was served in less than 5 minutes. There is a lunch menu even on Saturdays.
The lunch menu is basically 100 yen cheaper than the regular menu.
This time I had the ``Sara Udon'' set which comes with rice, pickles, and soup for 1,200 yen (included).
Since it's ``sara udon'', it's not insanely delicious compared to other restaurants, but it's reasonably delicious and filling. In particular, seafood such as squid, oysters, and kamaboko were included along with vegetables.
