What a beautiful place to enjoy an authentic Matcha tea in Tokyo. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The atmosphere of the place is magical, which will take you back in time. Staff is very welcoming to foreigners. I tried cold Matcha tea with sweet and it was delicious and calming during hot summer evening. The place is inside the garden which also very beautiful. One can spend 2 hours while enjoying tea and surrounding gardens. I would recommend using a public transport or bicycle as car parking is not available inside the garden.

Breath taking surroundings, and amazing relaxation experience. We had to cross the garden and pay for additional entrance fees to access the tea house. However, the garden it self is a must to see. They give the option to choose between green matcha tea, hot or cold, and two types of sweets both bean made. I liked the tatami and taking off shoes - semi traditional vibes. Still, It is not a tea ceremony, which is a rare find to Tokyo.

Great place to stop and take a break while walking the gardens, and have a cup of tea and some sweets. The green tea wasn't anything spectacular, but you're mostly here for the atmosphere. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, with fantastic views across the lake and the rest of the gardens. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're walking through.
