I visited on my anniversary. You can enjoy carefully prepared dishes in a small restaurant. The host was friendly but had a calm atmosphere, so I was able to enjoy my meal in a very relaxed manner.
I think reservations are a must, especially on weekends.
This is a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who loves Japanese food.

waves and wind. If it has been here since around 2014, it has been about 8 years. It's hard to tell because it's on the second floor, but it has a calming atmosphere. There is a counter and a table. It's run by a lovely couple, and the wife is a former bartender, so it's cool that they can make cocktails that go well with Japanese food. You may not be able to get a reservation, but be patient. It's a wonderful shop

Lunch with my wife in Kamakura: Kappo & Soba
I've been trying to make a last minute reservation for a while now, and I managed to get in last week.

Soba is 100% soba
I was surprised by the thinness of the soba, how well it was boiled, and the taste.

My wife has cold soba noodles, and I have warm soba noodles.
I think at the moment when I feel glad to be living in Japan.

Soba-yu has a richness unique to 100 percent soba.
Dessert is sweetness of Bavarois made with black beans and soybean flour.
This is actually my first experience at a kappo restaurant that focuses on soba noodles.

I visited for dinner in the fall of 2020 and ordered the evening omakase course (10,000 yen).

Sit at the counter and enjoy sophisticated Japanese cuisine. I liked the delicate and elegant seasoning. They also have a wide selection of Japanese sake.

The ``Seasonal Dessert Cocktail'' made with the grapes that the bartender had in front of me was also delicious.

This is only my second visit, but I would like to come back to Kamakura just to eat here.
The bartender's wife will recommend a drink that goes well with each dish, which shows the owner's dedication, so you can enjoy your meal!
