This is one of the most elevated craft beers bars I’ve ever experienced. The interior is well designed and clean.
The beer is fantastic. A wide range of well done classics and more experimental flavors like the apple cider beer we tried are available.
Some lights snacks and beer friendly entrees are ok the menu as well. A little off the beaten path but well worth the short walk from Nara station.

Nice place, good style of western bar food, decent beer. I did not like the two limited beers as they were strong/high alcohol tasting, but worth the try. Staff speaks basic English.

Great beer and snacks. An English menu is available for drinks only, but there are pictures for the snacks. In our opinion, Naramachi Ale is the best from the selection. The only downside is that it closes at 7 PM, while other bars stay open later, likely because it’s more of a local spot and not in a touristy area.

Awful experience, starting with the fact this is (in theory) a craft beer microbrewery but you cannot taste the beers, what a joke! Also, they offer a “tall size” of apparently 480ml but they bring you a glass that luckily has 350ml, and they charge you 1300 yen for it, what a scam. I asked them to pour it in a pint glass and they rejected it 🤦🏽♂️ That explains why the place is empty. People in the counter know nothing about beers and cannot even advise you on what they have on tap. Still quite a lot to learn and improve.

Wow! This place was great! We had the Haku and the Naramachi Ale. Both were great and delicious. Not too hoppy or bitter. Plus the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a stop over.
