Naritake Tokyo Kinshicho Shop Review Summary

I had the miso pork. It was by far the best ramen I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten a lot of ramen in my lifetime in Japan and NY mostly. It was garlicky and salty so if you like those flavors get the miso ramen and you will be in absolute heaven. Also they were very friendly, offered me an English menu, and the food came out almost immediately. You really can’t have a better experience than that.

Surprisingly one of the worst ramens I've tried in Tokyo. The special miso ramen is too salty, no special toppings to make it enjoyable, and the noodles lack that chewy goodness you'd expect in miso ramen. Not the place to go if you want to fall in love with ramen.

If you like your ramen thick and tasty, this place is for you. It's a tonkotsu base, and my personal favourite is their miso ramen. It's oily and full of flavour so it makes excellent hangover food or just great for when you're really hungry, especially if you add an egg in too!

- had trouble communicating with the clerk because I didnt know Japanese. But he was very patient with us and explained how to order and pay

-I got the roasted pork dipping noodle. It was a bit salty for me, but the noodles themselves were really nice.

-portion sizes were pretty big
