We had a wonderful dinner and experience at this small local Yoyogi izakaya. The head chef is such a friendly happy guy who ran the restaurant all on his own while managing to keep the delicious dishes coming throughout the evening and chatting to all his customers. We will definitely be back next time we visit Tokyo.
Update: see you again in December 2024 😊

1st time 2 people came to the store after 18:00 during Golden Week.
2nd visit: 1 person visited on Friday at 18:30
I visited twice in such a short period of time.
Omakase course + hamburger added for both times

You can enjoy a wide variety of handmade dishes, each one carefully made, with a focus on Kagoshima cuisine and Teppanyaki cuisine. There are table seats and counter seats inside the store, and there are many regular customers, making it a very comfortable space that feels like home.
The omakase course seems to change every day, which is something I look forward to.
The owner's homemade ponzu and spicy sauces go well with the dishes he makes himself, which further improves the quality of the dishes.
The omakase course costs 2,800 yen, which is too cheap for this quality in this area!
You can add hamburgers with +.
We also offer homemade plum wine, Kagoshima shochu, and non-alcoholic drinks upon request.
In the second half, we leave the drinks to you!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll bring out next time!
It's a special store that I don't really want to tell you about, and people gather here because of the owner's personality.

What is the difference between Teppanyaki and Hibachi?

Basic Japanese DishesKyoto RestaurantsTokyo Restaurants

Teppanyaki and Hibachi are two Japanese cooking styles that involve grilling on a hot iron plate. While often used interchangeably, they have distinct differences. Teppanyaki refers to cooking on a flat griddle, where chefs skillfully prepare dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables in front of diners. Hibachi, on the other hand, uses a round, open-grate grill heated by charcoal or gas, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Discover the nuances and theatrical flair of these two captivating Japanese culinary arts.
