New Light Review Summary

My child didn't like his lunch but I really liked his lunch and my own lunch. The grilled pork was tender and had a sauce with fruit flavour, which I liked. If it wasn't so expensive I would come here again. Otherwise, it was good. Altogether, it was around 7k yen.

Very classy and dimly lit cafe/bar in Miyashita Park that I visited for dessert after dinner. I tried the pear and caramel tart and it was light and refreshing. I would’ve been in favor of more caramel/cream notes as it could’ve been a bit more substantial that way.

The ambiance of the cafe is great, perfect for a long conversation over a good glass of wine. Would be happy to go back for drinks next time!

I have been to New Light on a few occasions and have always enjoyed myself. It's a little pricey but located in a very popular spot so that is to be expected. They have a mixture of European focused cuisine that is great. I also like that they offer some bourbon that is popular in the U.S along with some popular Japanese whiskey.
They have an upbeat vibe and the waitstaff are very nice. Their steak, fish, and pasta dishes are good. Dessert options are also wonderful.

Beautiful relaxed place on 3rd level of Miyashita park.

You can book a semi private room for up to eight people behind a partition.

Staff is hospitable and offer great service, they even help ladies and gentleman into their coats.

So it makes it harder for guys to stand out as being gentleman :-)

The food was great, and each dish had a little twist to it.

Great place for having special moments.
