New Matsuzaka Roppongi Review Summary

We got a 10 course teppanyaki dinner and upgraded to get kobe beef fillet and a matsusaka beef sirloin, both A5. All of the dishes were perfectly made and tasted amazing. We loved the wagyu sushi and the tataki wagyu salad and of course the main dish of the A5 meats. The lobster and scallops also tasted great. The staff was really nice. I accidentally booked a private room instead of the counter seats and they saw I was disappointed so they later moved us to the counter to watch the chef cook. Really a great experience and a very recommended teppanyaki to visit on your trip to Tokyo.

One of the best views in the city. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing! We accidentally left our umbrella there and the staff kept it safe for us until we returned the next day. Overall one of the best meals on our trip.

The beef was outstanding. The quality itself makes the meal worth it. The service was just okay but the sort of hibachi experience was very enjoyable. It was a 6 course meal mostly involving beef of seafood and each course was properly executed. Overall it was a great experience and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

went here for dinner as out last dinner in tokyo and wanted something different and walking distance for us.
we were very glad of our choice. restaurant is very small and exclusive. you sit around the chef with an incredible view.
food is to die for, and everything is made in front of you. never got an experience where the food and the plate are both absolutely amazing.
great wine selection. if you want a very calm and cozy night with a culinary experience, this is perfect!

I apologise for not being able to speak Japanese. I had a wonderful dinner here in New Matsuzaka Roppongi. Needless to say about the amazing food, the staff were very friendly and helpful to foreigners. My chief was busy cooking and didn’t say much, but I appreciate a lot on his hard work and careful preparation of dishes. Please extend my gratitude to him.
