Niigataya Review Summary

The youth of the chef gives no indication of his skill at the grill. Very enjoyable meal, thank you.

The first place I ate off the plane in Tokyo. Small shop with super nice staff. The food is great as well

I went to Niigata-ya, which I had always wanted to visit. Last time I went there, it was closed, so I went to the nearby Saitama-ya. Saitamaya was a delicious restaurant, but I think the prices were a little high.
Niigata-ya mainly had a counter, and there were some table seats. Since it was a Friday, it was crowded. There was one empty seat at the counter, so I was able to enter.
I ordered a few beers and yakitori.
There were a lot of young people inside the store...it wasn't quite what I expected, but the atmosphere was nice.
The yakitori was also delicious.

This is a famous store in Higashijujo. It's a delicious dish with strong flavors that goes well with skewers, offal, liver, grilled rice balls, and alcohol. It's a bit of a pain that you can only pay in cash, but it's still a nice restaurant with delicious food and a Showa-era atmosphere.

I think it's delicious, but the way the male staff and the only female staff treat the food is different. The amount of alcohol varies.

We went with two people and ordered quite a bit.
When I tried to order an additional skewer, a female clerk (brown hair, flashy nails) told me that each item had a minimum of 2 skewers.
There are some things that I don't like or don't like, so it's hard for each person to eat two bottles, so if they could change the rules so that I can only order one bottle of a certain type, I'd give it a 4 star rating.
I understand that there aren't many customers, but it's not a good idea for everyone to go to the back, and I think it would be better if you lowered your tone a little. It was helpful to talk about horse racing and gambling. (Sorry for overhearing)
This time it was disappointing. I won't go again.
