Bang bang was one of our favorite restaurants in Japan. Everything we tried was delicious- wagyu beef and mushroom skewers were our favorite. We were lucky and got a seat at the counter where you can watch the grill master which made the experience more unique. Reservations are needed as this place is always packed. If you can’t find a table online you can give them a call. That’s what we did and we were able to get a spot the same day.

So fun and cosy in this place. All the dishes are top notch and I wish I have room for more izakaya. Some dishes, drinks don’t have price, ask before order or your wallet will be gone 🤣

Recommended to sit at the counter to watch the chef in action! Their menu is extensive and features izakaya favourites like kushiyaki, seafood menus that are popular in Hokkaido, sake and wine etc. I could tell there were regulars dining there, which goes to show their level of service. Price is a tad expensive for us, but this is Niseko after all.

Easily one of the best meals we have had in Niseko. We were lucky enough to get counter seats walking in but reservations highly recommended.

Food is quite good but a little pricey for a izakaya restaurant. Everything we had was delicious, not a single dish that we didn’t like. Definitely will come back again.
