Our fav kaiseki place in Kyoto!
This was our second visit, the first time was before COVID when I had the most amazing piece of tuna! This time the tuna roll was just as amazing.
The chef and the hostess is a couple and they are both professional and amazing at what they do!
Each time we came, there was a lot of creativity being put into the individual dishes.
You do need to make reservation over the phone as they do not do online reservations right now.
But 100% worth the trouble!
Do go if you are in Kyoto!!!!

Nishi Kaiseki is an amazing place offering a unique experience to its guests. Dishes are not only delicious but also wonderful. Service is warm, flawless and tailor made. Nishi Kaiseki is a fantastic restaurant. We are deeply grateful to the Team for their hospitality. Okini!

I visited here a few days ago. The montblanc was best ever!! Coffee was so so, but the staffs are very kind, one of staff follwed me till downstairs for the farewell. I, my husband and my baby were really moved and want to visit there again.. Sadly now we are korea now, coming back from Japan, we still miss the staff and the taste of montblanc..😀
Would the staff be there till we visit again??...
