This was definitely a small mom and pop shop with no frills but very popular! There were lines queuing after we left but we also had it late around 8:30 pm. There are only about 8-9 chairs so very small shop!
The vending machine is a little more difficult to pick if you are not Japanese speaking. We all did the TOP LEFT corner which was just the classic dipping ramen (without any toppings but we didn’t know then)
Despite that the noodles were so flavorful and there were chucks of tender pork in the broth.
Very delicious! 8/10 rating

One of the best Tsukumen ever tasted. Slurry, thick, rich, umami and classic.
Super authentic with only 7 seating at a time. Order from the machine and wait for the serving. You can see how they prepare but not allowed to take a video/photo.
Tried the limited offering for the new year which was made up of 3 different soy sauces and fish. Soulful is the word!

Good tsukemen in Ginza. Line was already long even before the restaurant is ready to serve. Very small place, serves only less than 10 pax at a time.
Be ready to eat fast and run. The chefs don’t really allow you to take your time and eat. Once you are done with your noodles, you may request them to water down your broth and turn it to a light soup

Little unassuming shop near Ginza with ~6 seats. Possibly one of our favourite tsukemen in Tokyo! Finely balance niboshi-based tsukemen and we didn’t leave feeling like our lips were shrivelling from the saltiness, dipping sauce was thick enough to coat the noodles.
We arrived for dinner at 5PM on a Tuesday and there was no line.
Cash only vending machine.
¥1,300 for a special (noodles with ajitama, chashu), ¥1,000 for just noodles.

Delicious and thick broth for tsukemen. My very first tsukemen and it’s very very good. Noodles were on the hard/chewy side which is just my preference. Pork chashu slices are cooked tender and melts right in the mouth. In the tsukemen dipping sauce, there are also huge chunks of meat.
Really really great place. We were lucky when we arrived and there was only one person in the queue ahead of us. The restaurant only has 7 seats so be prepared for a wait. Prices range from about 1000-1200yen but the portion is really big.
We’ll definitely visit again in the future! Do give it a try if you’re in the Ginza area.
