Monja is like wet pancakes with veggies and meat. It's a lot better than it sounds.

You order from the menu, (you can also ask for the English menu!) and they will bring you a bowl of batter mix. There is a way to cook it, and I suggest you ask the staff to show you how!

We visited during on the weekends (might've been a holiday) where almost all the other Monja restaurants were closing at 10. Luckily we found this place which opened till 11:30pm.

One of the staff was great, spoke English, and helped us with our ordering and everything.

The restaurant is three floors I believe, with a washroom on the first. Expect small rooms, and sitting on cushions in front of low tables.

It will be a hot, but unique experience!

Food was fine, but the service was awful. They pressure us to order immediately, neither letting us the time to check the menu and decide, also keep pressure to the additional order and check. There are more welcoming places in Tsukishima, but also in Asakusa there are many monja restaurants even cheaper!!

One of the only places in the area that did not require a reservation while we were there. Plenty of monja to choose from at reasonable prices and the staff was somewhat accommodating ton foriegners. When it got busy however, they felt no hesitation to rush us.

Accidentally went to this place with my friends. As you can see from other comments - don’t come here. The attitude was very rude. Guy has completely misunderstood the concept of customer and customer service.

I wanted to eat monja so I went to Tsukishima.
Since it was G.W., there was a long line.
I found a shop with relatively few lines! So it's my first time.
Perhaps because of the size of the store, which stretches up to the third floor, there was a line of about 10 people waiting for about 10 minutes.
I ordered grilled food and the stable mochi cheese mentaiko. It's neither bad nor bad, it's delicious.
    Finish off with “Hatsukoimaki”
The sweet and sour taste of red bean paste and apricots was irresistibly delicious.
If the iron plate is empty and you do not add to your order, you will be asked to pay early and be asked to leave the store early, so I wish I could have taken my time a little longer. That's what I feel like.
    It was delicious.
