Okotaro Review Summary

Simply the best Okonomiyaki ever. Hiroshima style. Love the place. have been there many many times and always amazing. Just a bit smoky.

By far my favorite Hiroshima okonomiyaki in Tokyo. I used to live near by in Ayase and went there once a week. I moved to the other side of town recently but I will still go there occasionally even though it takes me more than 1 hour on the trains. Any other place in town, like Momijiya or Izukawa are only second best.

Delicious! Especially the tompei -yaki

This is a famous Hiroshima okonomiyaki restaurant and is always full.
It's been a while since I last visited Okonomiyaki, and it's pretty good as you'd expect from eating it in Tokyo, but I wonder if I had a strong impression of it before, or maybe my taste has changed. Has the taste gone down? That's what I thought.
We recommend the Okotarou special and the beef tendon ponzu sauce.

People in Hiroshima get angry when I say Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, but this is a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant.

Everything I ate was delicious, but the portions of okonomiyaki are huge, so if you're going to have one piece per person, it's better to eat fewer snacks.

I thought my stomach would explode and I would die.

Also, I recommend the deluxe over the special.
