Very limited hours but totally worth finding time to stop by. The udon was delicious and the tempura light and crispy. I recommend the zaru udon to really taste the noodle. You can add as many tempura as you like, all very reasonably priced. Stop by if you’re in the area.

I love everything about the udon here. It is perfect in texture and taste, and ordering a la carte tempura is the best way to do it!

I would like to preface this by saying that I don’t like udon. I live in Japan and don’t like udon. I’m a soba kind of girl, - it’s light, refreshing, never makes you feel like you can pass out from being too full...
Well, this udon is somehow on another level, so feel free to disregard what is said before.
This small, homey neighborhood place serves the most perfect udon: chewy, tender, full of initially unassuming flavor. Extra words go to the tempura that perfectly compliments the udon with a crispy outside-soft inside texture. Try nasu (eggplant) and maitake, you will be blown away.
By the way, the below plate cost me 1,050JPY!
Only regret is not taking hot udon, but hey, will come here for more...

Top notch udon and tempura! Might need to line up and wait, but totally worth it!

My favorite Udon restaurant in Tokyo. It serves sanuki udon, a type of udon Kagawa prefecture in Shikoku, which are square shaped and firm. The tempura is made to order so it's always hot and crispy when served.
